Taste Description: Sweetly aromatic, juicy citrus, smooth milk chocolate, and exotic spice.

There are few coffees as complex as this offering from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This high-grown, hard bean coffee is processed by small scale farmers.  Aromatic notes of tropical fruit, toasted nuts, sweet tobacco, dark chocolate, and a cacophony of brown-spices make this coffee our most thought-provoking. It’s delicious in a drip brewer, but such a dark horse in a French press or pour-over. It’s particularly wily and delicious in an AeroPress.

Loving Congo Coffee

Every morning in our home begins with a cup of Congo coffee. I tell my wife, ‘If you can’t enjoy a cup of coffee without any additives, you should find another blend.’ Congo Coffee doesn’t need any cream or sugar!

Good Flavour

This coffee has a good coffee flavour without being overpowering. It's not too acidic and it also has a good aroma. I have not had the Cong coffee before; but I will buy it again.

Excellent coffee

I've tried several brands of coffee and I always come back to this coffee. The roasting of this coffee is perfect (semi-black). The grain is not oily. I've been using it with an automatic coffee maker (Delonghi Elletta Cappuccino) for years. It makes a very nice "crema". The coffee is not bitter, it is very tasty, a sweetness in the mouth. Perfect for those who don't like overly full-bodied/burnt coffees but just right.
