Schedule: Sat and various weekdays [3-4 shifts per week], 8:30-4:30, will vary with staff vacation cover
Compensation: $18.00/hour + tips

Level Ground Trading Ltd. is a Fair Trade focus coffee roaster established in 1997. Our mission is to trade fairly and directly with small-scale producers in developing countries, offering customers ethical choices. We import coffee, tea, and other products from small-scale producers.
Job Overview
Your role at Level Ground Coffee Roasters will to be a barista in our Roastery Café – a community centred representation of our brand that truly puts Great Coffee Within Reach. Coffee and customer service knowledge are key components of the job, with coffee service being the primary starting point. You must know how to prepare delicious espresso-based beverages following our taste standards. Other tasks include:
- Prepare espresso-based and brewed beverages + serving food
- Care and maintenance of the coffee bar
- Receiving customers with friendly professionalism
- Handling payments responsibly
- Keeping the space clean, safe, and organized
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Having a good time with our coffee, tea, and other products
