On my third 5lb box and love it. Full body however not bitter, and very low acidity. Amazing in hot milky drinks (Flat White, Cappucino, etc) as it really brings out the toffee tones in the beans.

What prompted me to write this review is the comment in Dan's review below about it not being better than grocery store brand. This statement alone... "Crema is non existant and it runs very watery" usually means the person is not grinding the beans fine enough and needs to 'dial in' their machine settings for this bean. This is NOT a fault of the bean itself as I get a TON of crema and it completes in the standard ~25 seconds for a shot. If i could post a photo to show the crema I would.

I’ve been trying various brands of coffee over the last few years and happily discovered Level Ground’s Espresso which I love day after day for my morning cappucino. It’s the perfect intensity with no bitterness - just smooth and aromatic. I also love the convenience of ordering in bulk online and the excellent delivery service. I highly recommend this coffee.

Purchased several bags of the Espresso. I used it for cappuccinos and regular espresso shots. I am very disappointed with the flavour and end result of this coffee. It is extremely bitter on its own to the point that it’s almost rancid. Crema is non existant and it runs very watery. Very similar results of a Great Value Walmart Brand coffee but at 10 times the price. If you’re willing to douse your cup with auger, this coffee is terrible. I don know about the other blends but the so called Espresso blend is not espresso.

Delicious you can taste all the different flavours.

This coffee has a place in my kitchen forever. The flavor is strong without being bitter. It’s a favourite without a doubt.
